The Embassy - with the support of the Balassi Institute and together with the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences - organized the exhibition entitled "Hungarians Exploring the Orient “ as well as a scientific conference "The role of Hungarian scientists in the development of Azerbaijani-Hungarian literary ties and Turkology". From Hungarian side presentations were held by Head of Department of the University of Szeged Prof. Dr. István Zimonyi and the Hungarian lecturer at the Azerbaijan University of Languages Dr. Edina Dallos.
