Hungary celebrated its National Day , the anniversary of the 1956 Revolution. H.E. Elnur Mammadov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ambassador Tamás Torma delivered speeches at the ceremony held at the International Mugham Center on 22 October. At the event Ambassador Tamás Torma presented the award of the President of Hungary, the Commander's Order of Merit awarded by the President of Hungary to Mr. Ali Huseynli, former First Deputy Speaker and Member of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chairman of the Azerbaijan-Hungary Friendship Group for his outstanding activities in building bilateral parliamentary and cultural relations.
During the evening, Tilla Török Folk Ensemble performed Hungarian and Azerbaijani folk songs with Tilla's powerful, soulful vocals and folk and modern instrumentation.
