Remembrance Day in Yashamal district and Sumqayit

Ambassador of Hungary, Tamás József Torma, Defence, Military and Air Attaché of the Embassy, Colonel Szabolcs Sári paid tribute and laid wreaths at the cemeteries of Baku Yashamal district and Sumqayit, where Hungarians who fell on the territory of Azerbaijan during the First and Second World War lie, together with Germans and Austrians.

The visit took place at the initiative of the Ambassador of Germany on the occasion of Remembrance Day together with Ambassador of Austria.

Head of the Executive Power of Sumqayit, Fərəcov Zakir Fərəc oğlu joined the commemoration, under whose leadership the cemetery of the city is in exemplary condition.

In silent remembrance, we honor the memory of the deceased.
