Yes, if you have already received the acceptance letter from the university in Hungary.
2. I haven’t received my academic certificate (attestat) yet. Can I apply for a student visa anyway?
Yes, if you have already received the acceptance letter from the university in Hungary. You can also attach a statement from your current school confirming that you will receive the attestat later but it is not mandatory.
3. Is it enough if I attach only one of my parents’ bank statement or do I need to attach both of my parents’ banking documents?
One of your parents’ bank statement is enough but if you wish to show additional financial means at your disposal, you can present both of your parents’ banking papers.
4. How much money should there be on the bank account that I present?
We cannot tell you an exact amount, however, the bank account must show that you have enough financial means to support your studies, accommodation and other expenses while you stay in Hungary.
Please also note that the bank account must be on your own name or on the name of your parents.
5. Can someone else – other than my parents – be my sponsor, if my parents are not able to support my studies financially?
Only in exceptional cases (e.g. your parents are deceased or unavailable due to specific circumstances).
6. Do any of my documents need to be apostilled?
No, it is not mandatory to have your documents apostilled for the student visa application.
7. I have spent long years studying in a different country other than Azerbaijan. Should I present a criminal record from the country of my previous studies when I apply for a student visa to Hungary?
It is not mandatory.
