On May 23, 2019 a conference, commemorating the 225th anniversary of the birth of Jozsef Bem, a general and hero of the 1848-49 Hungarian Revolution was organized by our Embassy and the Baku State University. At the event, Miklos Mitrovits from Institute of History of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences held a lecture about the life of Jozsef Bem.
