On the 9th of September arrived to Baku the Silkroad by Horse Historical Expedition. They entered to Azerbaijan on the 24th of August after a few week riding through Serbia, Bulgaria and Georgia. The purpose of the trip is to wake up the traditions of the Great Silk Road, strenghten the relations of the people living near the Silk Road, to tend the common historic roots, and to develop the riding culture. The firts stage of the expedition finished in Baku, but the organizers intend to continue the tour belong the Silk Road in 2017 and 2018. The initiative was supported by the National Cultural Foundation of Hungary. In Baku the members of the expedition was accepted by the Ambassador, Imre Laszlóczki. Many Azerbaijani news agencies published articles about the event, and Mr. Istvan Bence, the head of the expedition gave some interviews about the initiative and their experinces during the tour.
