On the 6-7th of March Prime Minister of Hungary Mr. Viktor Orban paid an official visit to Azerbaijan, where he had face to face and plenary meetings with President of Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Artur Rasizade. During the visit, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Mr. Péter Szijjártó had meetings with Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev, Minister for National Economy Mihály Varga met Minister Shahin Mustafayev and Minister of Agriculture Sándor Fazekas met his counterpart Minister Heydar Asadov. On the occasion of the visit two Memorandums of Understanding between ministries (on cooperation in the field of high-technologies and labor), two MoUs between universities and four business agreements were signed and a Hungarian-Azerbaijani Business Forum was held which was opened by the co-chairs of the Hungary-Azerbaijan Economic Cooperation Intergovernmental Commission Minister Péter Szijjártó and Minister Shahin Mustafayev.
