On the 5th of December, a scientific forum commemorating to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the famous Hungarian physician, Ignac Semmelweis was organized by the Embassy of Hungary in Baku and the Azerbaijan Medical University. During the event Marcel Pop, the Director of the International Relations Department of the Semmelwies Medical University held a lecture on the life and work of Ignac Semmelweis. An exhibition about Ignac Semmelweis was also presented at the Azerbaijan Medical University. We also had a discussion with AMU’s rector, Geray Geraybeyli.
