On 15 November the Embassy of Hungary in Baku, representing the Hungarian Presidency of the Visegrad 4 Group, a regional cooperation platform of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, organised a seminar on energy security. The event was held in cooperation with ADA University, under the title “Energy security: Old and (re)New(able) solutions – views from Central Europe”.

Central European countries have been looking for ways to diversify their energy resources and supply routes ever since the end of the Cold War. During the seminar, energy experts from each of the V4 member states shared their views about the state of play and the prospects of these efforts – as well as the possible role of Azerbaijan in them.
