On November 25, 2017, the Embassy of Hungary organized a concert dedicated to the famous Hungarian composer, Zoltán Kodály. The concert, with the performance by pianist Eszter Virág Kiss and cellist Sándor Dezső from Hungary, also featuring Azerbaijani violinist Zahra Kuliyeva, was held at the Chamber and Organ Music Hall in Baku. Also under the auspices of the „Kodály-year”, Dr. Nóra Keresztes, teacher from the Budapest Music Academy held a workshop for the Academy’s students and teachers on „Teaching harmony along the Kodályian principles” at the Baku Music Academy on November 27-28.
