Application period for the Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship has started
The Programme is open to all young people with Hungarian roots living in the Diaspora who wish to pursue higher education in Hungary from the academic year 2022/2023. The deadline for applications is 31 January, 2022.
Treasures of Hungary at Heydar Aliyev Airport
The Embassy of Hungary, with the support of AZAL, organised the “Treasures of Hungary” photo exhibition of Mr. Aydin Sadikhov dedicated to the National Day of Hungary as well as to the resumption of the direct flight between Baku and Budapest.
Hungarian University Forum and alumni meeting in Baku
From 14 to 17 October 2021, representatives of seven Hungarian universities (ELTE, BGE, universities of Szeged, Pécs, Miskolc, universities of agricultural and life sciences and of veterinary medicine) discussed the possibilities of cooperation with partner institutions in Azerbaijan. The programme was organised by the Embassy of Hungary in Baku with the support of Tempus Foundation.
Presentation of Braille boards to blind and visually impaired children
On September 30, Hungarian Ambassador Viktor Szederkenyi visited Boarding School Number 5 for blind and visually impaired children to donate 80 Braille boards that can support the children in their education and everyday life.
Embassy participation at Beach Cleanup event in Baku
On 25 September 2021, our Embassy participated in the Beach Cleanup programme organised by the EU Delegation in Baku. In connection with the event, we organised a garbage collecting competition for schoolchildren, who as a reward received gifts with the logo of Planet Budapest EXPO.
